Stopped into Anita's Riverfront Grille on a Friday around 12 PM and overall had a really good experience. I’d give it 4 stars without much hesitation. First thing I noticed was how clean everything was, especially the bathrooms. That might not sound exciting, but you can usually tell a lot about a restaurant by how well they keep things maintained. The patio overlooking the river was a great spot to sit and unwind, and there was plenty of seating which was nice because the place was fairly busy for lunchtime.
The staff were all very friendly and easy to deal with, even though they honestly seemed a bit understaffed during our visit. Tables were taking quite a while to get cleaned off, and there was a little confusion when we first came in. We were told to seat ourselves, picked a spot, got comfortable, and then had to move because apparently they didn’t want customers sitting there. Not the end of the world, just a little awkward.
Now for the important part — the pizza was unreal. Hot, loaded with flavour, and cooked just right. If you go here, do yourself a favour and get the garlic butter on the crust. That alone is worth the trip. Prices were reasonable too, especially considering portion sizes, and the food came out surprisingly quick. Even the leftovers held up great the next day, which says a lot for pizza.
Overall, good food, good atmosphere, and a good time. A few service hiccups, but definitely somewhere I’d go back to.

Consistently amazing. Never had a bad meal here. Everything we have tried has been great & their portions and prices are unmatched for what you get. Definitely worth the drive across the border 🙂

Super great place for a summer patio lunch in Marine City. Super service, good nachos and salad ! Our lady server was very sweet (we told her we wanted a family-style shared meal and she came out with tongs and a scooper! Very thoughtful… definitely a come back!

Been here before for but not for food. But the food here today was delicious for the price and you get full. Our server/waiter was also very friendly too.

Service was only 3 stars because the kitchen was WAY off wack. And my 8 year old son ordered a cherry coke was told. 'it will be made with granadine' to find out I was charged 1.50 more for said drink. Would of maybe if changed the selection and or not have felt so blind sided by it. I tip about 40-50% typically. . Soooooo I was annoyed and it indeed affected my tip I left. Kitchen was slow. We waited about 30 minutes for our food. Foods always good. So no complaints besides the obvious above. :/
