I almost never leave negative reviews because I understand mistakes happen. What I don’t understand is refusing to fix them. I spent over $51 on what was supposed to be vegetable lo mein, pork fried rice, sweet-and-sour chicken, and wonton soup. What I actually received looked nothing like what I ordered. The “lo mein” was thin angel hair-style noodles mixed with chicken and vegetables in a soggy sauce. My pork fried rice was plain white rice. Instead of wonton soup, I received dumplings filled with what appeared to be spinach. Half of my order was simply not what I paid for. Thinking I had accidentally been given someone else’s order, I called the restaurant. The woman immediately read back what I had ordered and insisted that because she could read my receipt, I had received the correct food. I repeatedly explained that I knew what I ORDERED—I was telling her that’s NOT what was in the containers she handed me. After working a 12-hour shift, I had no intention of driving all the way back because of their mistake. I asked for a partial credit of $25 since half of my meal was wrong, or for them to make it right another way. She refused everything. The most insulting part was being told that the food “just looks different.” Since when does plain white rice magically become pork fried rice? Then she acted like it was somehow my fault for not opening every container at the counter before leaving. Mistakes happen. Poor customer service is a choice. Instead of apologizing or trying to make things right, I was treated like I was the problem. This was my first visit, and it will absolutely be my last.

When I lived out in New Haven I used to go to Leong's on 23 all the time with my mom and my two sons. I was out in the area and decided to stop in and get some carrie out to take back home with me to Roseville where I live currently. I'm so happy I did! The food was so good! I got the boneless almond chicken which actually had slivered almonds and green onions on it, which I haven't had a place out here around the Roseville area serve it that way. And I got an order of the orange chicken which was delicious also! I'm so glad things haven't changed and their food quality is still good! Love this place!

While the food is usually good, especially the almond chicken I would advise that my credit card number was stolen from there and multiple charges from Uber eats appeared on my statement within 20 minutes of my leaving the restaurant on a carryout pick up. I called the restaurant they said no, but I can assure you that card hadn’t been used in two weeks because I had been in the hospital and all the sudden I make one visit to that restaurant and all of a sudden bing bang boom $400 worth of charges from Uber eats

I went here on 04/24/2026. I got the almond chicken dinner/combo with an extra eggroll. The food was bland. I asked for no egg in my shrimp fried rice which cost me an extra $4..I am allergic to eggs so I couldn't eat the rice. The chicken was dry, the gravy is disgusting and the eggroll was horrible. I am very unhappy with my purchase which cost me $20.46. I had to throw it in the trash.
